VPNs and Remote Access
Our remote access and VPN services help you to provide reliable and secure access to central information for users who are either on the move or in satellite offices.
When would you need remote access and VPN services?
If you have a mobile work force, or employees based in home or branch offices who need to connect to the corporate network, a Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides a cheap and secure way to give them access to central data. A VPN uses the internet for corporate data communications, and is therefore a low-cost method of linking offices together and providing remote users with access. You don’t need a high-speed ADSL (Broadband) connection to establish a VPN, but where this is available you will greatly reduce connection costs and improve the speed and reliability for remote users. Where ADSL is not available, offices can be linked together with a leased line, and remote users can use any means they would normally use to connect to the internet - modem, ISDN, ADSL, leased line, mobile phone, or wireless.
A BMS consultant will explain how easy it is to set up and configure a VPN to reduce the cost of your company’s communications – whatever the size of your organisation.
